1. The directory
CursorCraft is an editorial directory of pixel-art and retro-themed cursor packs. The directory itself, its layout, descriptions, taxonomy, and editorial commentary are © CursorCraft. Cursor pack files indexed on the site remain the property of their respective authors and are licensed on a per-pack basis (see each pack page for the applicable license string).
2. Pack licensing
The license shown on a pack page governs your use of that pack. CursorCraft does not relicense, modify, or override the original creator’s terms. If a pack page says CC BY 4.0, that is the license that applies — regardless of how, where, or in what bundle you obtained it.
If you intend to use a pack commercially (paid product, paid course, sponsored stream, retail game), confirm the pack’s license allows commercial use. The licensing primer walks through the most common cases.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use CursorCraft to:
- Mass-scrape the directory without permission. The site is small and friendly; ask first.
- Re-host downloads under your own domain in a way that strips author credit or license terms.
- Submit packs you do not have rights to distribute.
- Submit packs containing malicious payloads, executables, or content unrelated to the cursor format.
- Attempt to break, probe, or overwhelm the site’s infrastructure.
4. Submissions
By submitting a pack you confirm that you are the author or have the author’s permission to list the pack on CursorCraft. You grant CursorCraft a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute the pack under the license you specify, and to render preview thumbnails of the pack’s cursors on the site for editorial purposes.
5. Takedowns
If you believe a listed pack infringes your rights, send a takedown request via the contact page. Include the pack URL, the rights you assert, and your contact information. We process valid takedowns within seven days.
6. Disclaimers
The directory is provided “as is.” We do our best to verify that downloads are clean and license strings are accurate, but we make no warranty as to fitness for any particular purpose. Use of any third-party tool referenced in the install guides (Mousecape, RealWorld Cursor Editor, etc.) is at your own risk under those tools’ own terms.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CursorCraft and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the site or any pack downloaded through it.
8. Changes to these terms
If we materially change these terms, the “Last updated” date will change and a banner will appear on the homepage for at least seven days. Continued use of the site after that point constitutes acceptance.
9. Contact
